Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to
join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for
managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company,
ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. This
role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles,
excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively
with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Prepare and
maintain accurate financial statements and reports. Manage general
ledger and ensure accurate transaction recording. Assist in
budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Oversee accounts
payable and receivable functions. Ensure tax compliance and prepare
tax returns. Coordinate and prepare for audits. Conduct financial
analysis to support business decisions. Oversee payroll processing.
Develop and implement internal controls. Utilize accounting
software to streamline processes. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA
certification is preferred. Proven experience in accounting or
finance roles. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention
to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of
a team. High level of integrity and confidentiality. US and Canada
