Job Description A family-owned distribution company in San Clemente is seeking an Office Coordinator/ Administrative Assistant to assist their team administratively and organizationally. This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity, with pay starting at $22 to $24/hour. The hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Once hired, a competitive employee---s benefits package is available, including 401K participation after one year. Office Coordinator Responsibilities: Assist in answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate team member Sort & dispense incoming mail/packages Order office supply stock and supplies, as needed Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and any other external contacts necessary Organize and schedule internal as well as external meetings Coordinate with the accounting team, preparing purchase orders and posting payments Maintain office communication including emails to teams and departments on behalf of teams or senior staff. Work closely with HR to onboard new employees Office Coordinator Qualifications: 2 years of experience in a similar role Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create reports, documents, and spreadsheets in MS Word and MS Excel Previous experience utilizing an ERP system Experience with 10-Key operation Highly detail-oriented, strong attention to accuracy Strong computer and organizational skills Excellent communication (written and oral) Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies Must be highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to work in a team environment Previous experience working in a distribution/manufacturing environment is a PLUS Company Description PrideStaff South Orange County Mission Viejo works with local businesses to source, interview and recruit candidates for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire staffing in the areas of office and administrative support, customer service, accounting, light industrial, skilled, and general labor.
