Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Communications Graphic Designer to join our Yamaha Motor Finance Team team in either Marietta GA or Cypress CA. The Communications Graphic Designer will support companywide marketing needs with a focus on development of design, creative copy, and visual layout for a variety of mediums. This position will be responsible for creating new content & updates to all internal and external communications to include presentations, brochures, videos, sales promotions, rate sheets, event support, corporate templates as well as other types of print and digital marketing materials. This position will also lead in writing copy for program literature, email & marketing specific campaigns, websites, videos, and other materials as assigned.
A successful Media Designer will be highly motivated, with a sharp eye for visual language, strong understanding of brand identity and process orientated. This person should be able to ideate on multiple concepts and come up with creative solutions. It is vital that the Media Designer can work within a collaborative team environment. This fast-paced exciting environment provides opportunities to work across the various business units helping to enhance the overall Yamaha Brand. Be prepared to help build something great!
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Conceptualize and execute graphics projects across formats including print, video, text, static and animated images, and other interactive features for the development of various marketing materials.
• Able to leverage and coordinate with multiple resources & SMEs to develop and maintain clear & consistent brand voice across internal and external communications. Proven ability to write compelling copy.
• Able to adapt to, enforce, and enhance corporate brand standards related to tone/voice. Manage all corporate logos, VI/Style Guides, and corporate marketing templates.
• Participate in creative development process with SME's managing multiple projects at a time. Illustrates concepts with design/layout of content for review, feedback, and approval for a wide variety of media channels.
• Owns assigned job duties from inception to completion with final approval coming from assigned project managers.
• Films or photographs original content for use in printed marketing materials, website, and video projects.
• Stay on top of fresh and effective images and content that are trending, sharing these regularly with the Marketing team.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for various division meetings and events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
  • BA degree in Graphic Design, marketing, marketing communications, journalism or market management required.
  • 5+ years of solid graphic design experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working on the MAC platform and most major design applications (i.e., InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat).
  • Demonstrate ability to think creatively and provide marketable solutions.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, and strong verbal communication skills.
  • Must work well in a team environment, effectively collaborating with others in the creative process.
