(COTA) license, and 1 years Certified Occupational Therapy
Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Join a dynamic educational
environment as a Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
(COTA) serving an elementary school caseload. This full-time,
contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential
support to students in a school setting from Monday through Friday,
8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role begins as soon as possible and extends
through June 12, 2026, allowing for consistent, impactful work
throughout the academic semester. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
occupational therapy services to elementary school students
on-site. Collaborate with educators, therapists, and support staff
to develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Implement
therapeutic interventions tailored to each students unique needs.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with
school and state requirements. Participate in team meetings and
professional development opportunities as needed. Qualifications
and Experience: Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
license in California. Prior experience working within a
school-based setting, preferably at the elementary level. Strong
ability to engage with children and adapt therapy approaches to
diverse learning environments. Excellent communication and teamwork
skills. Available for a Zoom interview process. Location: Position
is based at an elementary school in Whittier, CA. Benefits of the
