As a Senior Front-end Engineer, it is your responsibility to implement client features and requests, utilizing these opportunities to assist in your growth as an engineer and the interest of our clients through your projects and assignments. Day-to-day Responsibilities Communicate daily with your team, following our documented communication processes. Write expertly designed, testable, and efficient code by using modern software development practices. Transform designs into an accessible and consistent cross-platform user experience. Discover and define feature requirements based on client requests and technical capabilities. Create and maintain software documentation, both internally and for your projects. Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our client's sites proactively through continual testing and development. Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to your work and processes. Mentor and lead fellow Engineers by creating opportunities for growth and development. Requirements You have proven working experience in Enterprise front-end development. You are skilled with Git and have experience using Github. You deeply understand front-end development and have plenty of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Bonus points for experience in React or other JavaScript component-based frameworks. You have experience with WordPress Development and building for the WordPress Block Editor (aka Gutenberg, and ACF does not count). You deeply understand how front-end applications work, including security, privacy, and modern front-end development practices. You demonstrate expert knowledge of performance metrics, page speed testing, and front-end application development. You possess the ability to diagnose problems and debug code using creative and proactive problem-solving skills. Bonus points for paired programming and debugging experience. You use strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets. You demonstrate the ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse front-end technologies and techniques.
