pioneering new markets.Job DetailsAs the Lead Hardware Test &
Verification Engineer, you will own the hardware test engineering
activities for our product development projects. You will be an
integral member of the development engineering team, contributing
throughout the product development cycle: we will seek your input
during the product definition phase, your feedback on prototypes
will be vital during development, and your approvals will be one of
the final gates leading the product into mass production.In your
day-to-day work, you will define, implement, and manage
verification test plans for our electronics and speaker products.
You will use a variety of equipment to perform electrical,
environmental, regulatory, functional, and performance testing of
our hardware products. Your testing will ensure our products
function and perform as specified. You will find and track bugs,
often helping to troubleshoot and fix them. And your suggestions
for improvements to the product will be highly valued as we strive
to create the best audio products in the industry!Required
Qualifications and Experience
--- Minimum B.S. EE or equivalent.
--- 5+ years' experience in electrical design or electrical test
--- 3+ years of experience in a hardware design, NPI, or sustaining
environment with demonstrable experience driving product
--- Excellent troubleshooting instincts, from system to component
--- Ability to interpret hardware circuits, schematics, and block
--- Intimately familiar with electronics test equipment such as
oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, data acquisition systems, etc.
--- Excellent communication skills: ability to summarize key
details from large quantities of data.
--- Ability to interface with internal cross-functional development
teams and external contract manufacturers.
--- Familiarity with qualification testing for electronics and
regulatory standards (EMC, USB, HDMI, etc.)
--- Fluency with various quality tools such as Six Sigma, DoE,
GR&R, FMEA, etc.
--- Experience working with bug tracking systems (such as Jira) and
reporting.Desired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
--- Experience with consumer or professional audio product design
--- Knowledge of audio transducers, audio amplifiers, power
supplies, microprocessor-based systems, Ethernet, and USB hardware.
Test expertise in these areas is a strong plus.
--- Experience with testing integration of multiple sub-systems
including software is a strong plus.
--- Ability to automate test using scripting languages (python,
--- Strong Linux user and admin experience.
--- Experience operating thermal/environmental chambers,
oscilloscopes, bench power supplies, electronic loads,
multi-meters, data acquisition systems, and various other test
--- Experience working with Asia-based CMs.What separates the best

--- Audio or networking product design experience as an EE or
--- Experience with CLIO QC, Loudsoft FineQC, LMS, MLSSA, Klippel
PM8 and Klippel QC.
--- Experience with Audio Precision analyzers.
--- Experience qualifying electronics to the HDMI, DDR, Ethernet,
USB, and/or various wireless standards.
--- Familiarity with networking protocols.
--- Ability to construct comprehensive but minimalistic
