Job Description:
A company is looking for an Azure GIS Cloud Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with deploying and managing GIS solutions in Microsoft
Azure, including provisioning and configuring Virtual Machines,
storage, and networking components
Support the integration of Azure cloud services with on-premises
systems in a hybrid environment
Help monitor and maintain Azure-hosted GIS systems using Azure
Monitor, resource health tools, and diagnostics
Required Qualifications:
Foundational understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including
compute, storage, networking, and monitoring tools
Experience with ARM templates and/or Bicep for infrastructure
automation
Familiarity with GIS platforms, such as Esri ArcGIS Enterprise,
especially in cloud or hybrid deployments
Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell or Azure
CLI
Knowledge of network and computer system security protocols,
including SAML 2.0 and OAuth 2.0
