Job Description Job Description Job Title: 2nd Shift Extrusion Operator Job Description We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as 2nd Shift Production Operators. In this role, candidates will be trained to operate a variety of extrusion equipment, ensuring the highest standards of production quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Operate and set up extrusion equipment based on production orders. Maintain production quality and obtain samples for quality control. Label and pack finished products according to work order instructions. Check operating controls and ensure the safety of equipment prior to operation. Obtain materials for processing from inventory bins and report any issues with materials. Monitor material quality for defects and adjust machine parameters as necessary. Review work orders/drawings and resolve any conflicts. Wear a respirator when performing machine setup. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies. Comply with OSHA safety standards and notify supervisors of any potential hazards. Essential Skills At least 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator. Experience working with large machines and materials. High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally. Good attendance record and job tenure. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in heavy machine operating, general labor, carpentry, or construction. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork-oriented and self-motivated. Fast learner with patience. Some power tool and mechanical skills. Interest in operating machinery. Basic Microsoft Office skills. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
