Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician
responsible for assembling highly complex electromechanical builds.
The role involves testing and troubleshooting assemblies in process
or during final end testing. This position requires working from
schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or
defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting
functions. Responsibilities Perform operational tests and fault
isolation on systems and equipment. Assist in determining methods
or actions to remedy malfunctions. Utilize manufacturing, test,
development, or diagnostic equipment, including multimeters and
oscilloscopes. Work in a highly integrated and fast-paced
interdisciplinary team on process scale-up activities and process
troubleshooting. Execute process operations according to SOPs,
troubleshoot equipment issues, and resolve process disruptions.
Develop and implement process improvements and support
investigations. Follow test procedures and operate test equipment
on assemblies and subassemblies with limited supervision.
Troubleshoot process disturbances, identify resolutions, and
implement corrective and preventive measures. Collaborate with an
Engineer or Project Lead for timely investigations of unexpected
data, issues, and trends. Propose improvements to processes and
work instructions to minimize repairs and reworks. Assist in
keeping test equipment running properly by diagnosing and fixing
electro-mechanical issues. Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills 5 years of EM Assembly Experience 2 years as an
electro-mechanical technician Experience in a regulated industry
(Aerospace, Medical, Semiconductor) Strong mechanical assembly and
documentation skills Proficient in troubleshooting, assembly,
mechanical, electrical, and repair tasks Ability to work well
within a small team environment Comfortable identifying and
articulating potential solutions to stakeholders Ability to check
for defects and distinguish between colors Good motor skills and
fine assembly capabilities Strong written and verbal English
communication skills Ability to read and carefully follow
instructions Excellent attention to detail and organization
Additional Skills & Qualifications Advanced knowledge of hand tools
and power tools May use metrology equipment to validate parts
Technical knowledge for diagnosing mechanical errors, safety
issues, or inefficiencies Ability to listen and understand
perspectives during stressful scenarios Capability of lifting up to
50 pounds and working in various physical positions as needed Why

casual, with PPE provided. The role involves sitting at a desk for
long periods, using a keyboard, answering telephones, and
occasionally walking and lifting up to 20 lbs. The noise level is

individuals with disabilities. Working hours include two positions
on the 1st shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm and one position on the 2nd
shift from 2 pm to 10:30 pm, with a 10% differential for the 2nd
shift. Overtime may be available but is not mandatory. This is a
6-month contract position. Job Type & Location This is a Contract
position based out of SAN DIEGO, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range
for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements
