Job TitleDirector, Professional ServicesFLSA StatusExemptPosition SummaryThe Director, Professional Services is a dynamic and strategic-thinking individual, entrusted with providing leadership, strategic coordination, and execution of ICU Medical's customer facing operations and professional services team members. The incumbent will provide leadership to management of regional teams that include, Project Managers, Pharmacy Consultants and Nursing Consultants. The objective of this role is to provide Customer Consulting Services intended to enhance ICU Medical's value to the customer via the identification of service solutions to address the customer's needs. -Essential Duties & Responsibilities--- - - -Provides leadership to regional Professional Services Managers to ensure quarterly / yearly revenue targets are met while ensuring customer implementation feedback scores goals are met ---- - - -Assures that operations are executed using standardized processes to optimize operational and financial efficiencies by ensuring the appropriate training and monitoring of utilization of the implementation teams--- - - -Evaluate PSA (Professional Services Automation) system and other data points to develop effective strategies based on accurate and meaningful data and analysis--- - - -Partner with all divisions and teams across the organization to improve and drive performance excellence and cohesive teamwork--- - - -Provide recommendations based upon multiple data analytics to enhance processes and improve efficiencies--- - - -Translate knowledge of subject and organizational needs into clear and effective strategic business plans--- - - -Demonstrate clear leadership skills and the ability to work independently with a strategic plan. -Includes the ability to evaluate opportunities, develop and implement performance improvements.--- - - -Actively participate in business initiatives across services and marketing, to identify opportunities for growth and development.--- - - -Handles requests for project management and clinical resources that would support R&D, Global and US Marketing--- - - -Assumes a lead role in resolving customer conflicts when escalated from team or other stakeholders--- - - -Partner with sales leadership to support "Value Added" conversations and Executive programs--- - - -Collaborates in the development of new value add clinical consulting services, e.g. executive data analytics and IV Clinical assessments--- - - -Participate in high level Leadership customer presentations--- - - -Performs other related duties as assigned or requiredKnowledge, Skills & Qualifications--- - - -Experience with medical device / software implementations--- - - -Experience is managing large field teams--- - - -Ability to pro-actively develop trust and professional rapport with employees and peers creating a "team-playing" environment.--- - - -Persistence in working through internal and customer challenges--- - - -Attracting and developing talent; developing direct reports to include identifying/addressing educational gaps & strengths, developing leadership skills, identification of and preparation for the employee's next developmental position at ICU Medical. ---- - - -Build sustainable relationships with C-Level/VP customers and internal customer/stakeholders (i.e. Sales) ---- - - -Apply knowledge from conferences, trainings, and other learnings to address the issues important to internal and external customers--- - - -Well-developed interpersonal skills in order to build strong, sustainable relationships with internal and external customers, as well as, to motivate and lead the business and team--- - - -Ability to mediate and negotiate with peers, customers, consultants, suppliers, and management of functions ---- - - -Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of professional and technical management (to include the C Suite)--- - - -Strong presentation skills both internal and externalEducation and Experience ---- - - -Bachelor's degree required, Master's in business administration, management, and/or leadership preferred. ---- - - -8+ years of Management, Project Management (either commercial or Clinical)--- - - -Experience overseeing execution of multiple workstreams--- - - -RFP and sales support experience.--- - - -Project management, Lean, TQM, Agile and/or Black Belt certification preferred--- - - -Experience working with Infusion systems/safety software/EMR is a plusMinimum Qualifications--- - - -Must be at least 18 years of ageTravel Requirements--- - - -Typically requires travel up to 40% of the time including overnight stays in a hotelPhysical Requirements and Work Environment--- - - -This role requires the ability to travel frequently (sit on a plane or travel in a car up to 6 hours)--- - - -This is largely a sedentary role--- - - -This job operates from a remote home office and routinely uses standard office equipment.ICU Medical is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
