Description: West Coast Center for Surgeries is an Ambulatory Surgery Center, Medicare Certified Center. We are looking for an energetic perioperative RN (Registered Nurse) with Ophthalmology experience who demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment and the development of the nursing care plan in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure that patient will be safe and to keep highest degree of quality care. To maintain the sterile field in the operating room, being constantly vigilant to see that proper aseptic techniques are utilized to prevent contamination and infection between patients.Incentive and sign on bonus available.Duties:-- RN must be able to follow directions accurately, quickly and carefully-- RN must be a team player-- RN helps to prepare surgeons and inventory for daily surgical cases-- RN helps in maintaining log books and following guidelines for accreditation-- RN is responsible for Pre-op duties-- RN. is responsible for Post-op duties-- RN is responsible for Circulating dutiesRequirements: -- RN and hold a license in the state of California-- Current BLS and ACLS certification-- Previous surgical experience in Ophthalmology-- Must work with energy and efficiencyThis is a Part Time position based on the surgical schedule, which is generally Tuesday-Thursday, and one Friday per month.Job Type: Part-timePay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hourPM22PI213851511
