Torrance, CA Facility Details: - Facility size: 570 beds - Level 1
Trauma Center and teaching facility - EMR: Cerner - Scrub color:
Any color (Navy Blue or Black preferred for a unified look) - PPE
provided - On-site parking available Contract Details: - 13-week
contract - 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts) - Shift: Nights -
No on-call requirements - No RTO preferred - Opportunities to
extend may be available - Floating may be required Start Date:
August 7 Orientation Date: August 7 Licensure & Certifications: -
Active California RN license (must be current; if expired, must
renew) - BLS, ACLS, MAB/CPI, and LA County Fire Card required -
COVID-19 vaccination and booster (if eligible) required Experience
Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of acute care inpatient
experience as a hemodialysis RN - Experience with dialysis
treatments, monitoring, and assessing patients with acute and
chronic renal failure - Excellent communication and organizational
skills required - Travel experience preferred, but not required -
Local travelers accepted Patient Ratios: Within California state
law guidelines Case Types: - Dialysis - Chronic renal failure -
Level 1 trauma - STEMI patients Support & Culture: - Nurses always
work on teams and receive full support (travelers and staff are
treated equally) - Travelers are never left alone on the floor
