Job Description:
Description: West Coast Center for Surgeries is a
Medicare-certified Ambulatory Surgery Center. We are seeking an
energetic Circulating RN with Ophthalmology experience who
demonstrates proficiency in the nursing process, contributes to
nursing assessments, and participates in the development of care
plans in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. The
ideal candidate will prioritize patient safety and high-quality
care, and must maintain the sterile field and proper aseptic
techniques in the OR to prevent contamination and infection. Job
Description: Primary OR circulator for ophthalmic procedures
Lead/management experience preferred Accurately follow directions
and respond quickly in a dynamic OR environment Collaborate
effectively with the surgical team Assist with preparation of
surgeons and inventory for daily cases Maintain logbooks and ensure
compliance with accreditation standards Perform pre-operative and
post-operative nursing duties Handle circulating responsibilities
during surgery PM22 Requirements: Active RN license in the state of
California Current BLS and ACLS certifications Previous surgical
experience in Ophthalmology is required Must demonstrate energy,
efficiency, and teamwork Please do not apply if you do not have
Cataract surgery experience. This is a part-time position based on
the surgical schedule, typically Tuesday through Thursday, with one
Friday per month. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
based on experience Compensation details: 45-60 Hourly Wage
