An amazing opportunity just recently opened up for a Nurse Director of Case Management in a wonderful 175 bed short Term Acute Care Hospital in the heart of Southern California.The Nurse Director of Case Management would be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of Case Management and Social Work. The incumbent would be reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and would be supported by both the Manger of Case Management and the Manager of Social Services. The Nurse Director of Case Management would oversee patient care coordination as well as Utilization Management.The Nurse Director of Case Management must have a strong background within Acute Care, and ideally have at least five years of experience with Case Management. Ideally the incumbent would have a MSN, however candidates that completed an accredited RN Nursing program will also be considered. The Nurse Director of Case Management must demonstrate knowledge of both Case Management and Utilization Management.Living In this area is absolutely amazing it is very close to the beach with fabulous school districts, and charming neighborhoods. This area is between San Diego and Los Angles so if you feel like going to either destination it would be a very east commute.
