Chaupain Bakery is seeking a highly motivated, passionate, Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef for our San Clemente location. We are open 7 days a week and serve breakfast and lunch. Everything we make is 100% from scratch and we strive to be seasonal/sustainable.The Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef will be responsible for, but not limited to, all operations of the kitchen on a daily basis. The number one priority of the Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef is to ensure that food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards. Skills/Qualifications 2-3 years of supervisor or management experience in an upscale casual or fine dining restaurant Dedication to excellent food quality and health and safety/safe food handling practices Passion for food, seasonal and ingredients driven Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion Flexible schedule. Mornings, nights, weekends and holidays are required We offer; Competitive hourly rate Medical, dental and vision insurance.
