Provide retail sales support of the San Clemente Three Dog Bakery Store retail operation, promoting the highest level of customer service and professional excellence.
1. Ensure a positive, friendly experience for all visitors to the store by providing excellent customer service and a clean, visually appealing retail environment.
2. Operate in a fiscally/socially responsible manner, upholding the image and goodwill of the organization.
3. Ensure positive, collaborative relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external related entities as required to support Three Dog Bakery store operations.
4. Maintain positive, effective working relationships with all staff members and other internal resource relationships critical to the efficient and effective operation of the organization.
Leadership and Stewardship
5. Act with good stewardship of the organization's resources always.
6. Uphold the mission, values, and principles of the organization. Ensure all business endeavors and relationships are legal and ethical and are consistent with the organization's values, policies, and goals.
PRIMARY TASKS & DUTIES
- Ensure excellent customer service
- Assist in training of new associates on operations, product knowledge and salesmanship
- Complete shift tasks and projects as assigned
- Manage store operations
- Opening and closing duties
- Daily paperwork
- Maintain stocking of AMP & TDB products
- Maintain clean environment
- Key customer transactions and balance register daily
- Communicate inventory and supply requirements
- Assist in inventory management
- Assist in planning and organizing store events
- Human Resources management
- Maintain collaborative environment
- Sales and Financial duties
- Increase store sales
- Perform all opening and closing register processes
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ KEY COMPETENCIES
- Ability to communicate positively, regularly, and effectively throughout all levels within the company and with customers both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate a high level of problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others to achieve stated goals and objectives for the organization.
- Well organized, computer and data entry savvy, technical aptitude in dealing with equipment and software.
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience
- Demonstrated computer and technical ability, including proficiency in Microsoft office, Point of Sales systems, Gmail, Google Calendar and social media tools (Facebook and Instagram)
- Demonstrated success in providing excellent customer service
Physical/Environmental / Other - Ability to lift 30 pounds
