Job Description Description:Performs housekeeping duties in the resident studio apartment and common areasCleans (dust, dry mop, wet mop, sanitize, scrub) assigned resident studio apartments and common areasEnsure that cleaning schedule is followedResponsible for the daily laundry servicesCollect soiled laundry (linens and clothing) from each assigned studio apartmentSort unwashed articles by color and fabric and track all items collectedLoad and unload automatic washing and drying machines; wash, fold, and delivers Clean floors and walls (sweeping, mopping, dusting, spot cleaning).Clean work carts, equipment, supplies, etc.Maintain accurate record of all in-coming and out-going clothing itemsFile laundry sheets and request records for future referenceRoutinely handle chemicals commonly used in laundry and performs custodial duties in the laundry areaAttend and participate in facility mandatory in-service training programs, as scheduledMaintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident care information, including protected health informationDisposes of trash, waste, and other materials in a safe mannerInforms supervisor that supplies are in need of being orderedPerform all other duties, as assignedRequirements: Must be able to successfully complete Basic Life Support certification and bloodborne-pathogens training within 30 days of hireMust be able to communicate both written and verbally in EnglishPhysical requirements include but are not limited to: able to lift up to 60 lbs., push/pull up to 40 lbs., carry up to 30 lbs., frequent standing and walking requiredPrior housekeeping experience preferredReliable transportationCan work weekends and holidays This job offer is contingent upon the following: - Pre-employment physical clearance - TB test clearance - Drug screen clearance - Background check clearance - Satisfactory reference checks PI207553081
