Description:
Process domestic (multi-state) and international (multi-country)
confidential payroll for 150+ employees Process confidential
payroll for International Monitor healthcare billing and EDI
processes Subject matter expert in payroll related items including
various earning codes, deductions, withholdings, and taxation.
Maintain payroll and reporting schedule and develop systems for
tracking payroll Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation,
and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies
to ensure pay integrity, verify sick and/or vacation time or other
paid benefits. Monitor and improve payroll system to ensure
employee mastery and legal compliance.Partner with HR to ensure all
employee changes are captured completely and timely. Perform full
auditing procedures pre- and post-payroll cycle, creating reports
and validations regarding identified occurrences. Proactive in
addressing issues and assisting employees with payroll-related
questions. Responds to inquiries from managers and employees in a
timely manner Instructs employees on how to change their
information: addresses, taxes, direct deposit, etc. Assist managers
with the understanding of pay system, timesheets, PTO, provide
Sonance policies if needed Accurately input all payroll related
data necessary to process and meet firm deadline including but not
limited to new hires, terminations, salary changes, manager
changes, address changes into Paylocity Obtain supervisor approval
for timecards/discrepancies Generate reports for accounting, human
resources, and other departments as needed Manage leaves/pay:
maintain close communication with employee to ensure paid correctly
Employee verifications: complete form/verbal verifications & save
information in electronic employee file Unemployment benefits
forms/communications Stay up to date on new guidance and ensure
federal, state, local and international payroll tax compliance.
Interact with employees in a professional and pleasant manner to
answer administrative questions related to policies and procedures,
and/or distribute work related documents, materials and information
Monitor payroll tax returns Maintain online and physical employee
files - complete all required paperwork and monitor personnel file
retention Manage i9s and help with background checks Compliance
with employment law and provide updates/suggestions as necessary
Provide HR related support in scheduling and coordinating
activities related to Corporate HR Initiatives/programs like open
enrollment, required training courses, etc. Participate in varied
HR Projects and initiatives, including standardization and
continuous improvement or processes PM21PM22
Requirements:
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related
discipline 2-5 years previous experience in human resources and
payroll is a MUST Experience with payroll software Must be
