A start-up medical device company in San Clemente is looking for a full-time assembler. Applicants must be reliable, committed to manufacturing quality product, and able to work independently under supervision. The shift is Monday - Friday, 7AM to 3:30PM. The pay is $17 to $18/hour. This is a temporary position that is expected to last 2 to 4 months. It could turn into a temp-to-hire position.Skills and Experience Needed:* Minimum 2 year as assembler at medical device manufacturer* Experience with laser welding (LaserStar equipment a plus)* Familiarity with microscopes and inspection equipment (rulers, calipers, etc.)* Cleanroom experience a plus* Good dexterity and attention to detail* Able to read and verbally communicate well in English* Bilingual (Spanish) preferredResponsibilities will include:* Extensive production laser welding under microscope.* Issuing components from inventory.* Filling out production records, (e.g. work orders, inventory tags, etc.)* Production floor maintenance such as weekly cleaning, line clearance, etc.* Visual self-inspection for completeness and defects.
