The Supply Chain has direct responsibility for driving cost
savings through oversight and management including planning,
controlling, and coordinating all aspects of the supply chain to
include sourcing and procurement and oversight of materials and
What will you do?
This position is responsible for purchasing of materials, demand
and supply planning, distribution and the overall supply chain
management. Implementation of supply chain strategies, develop and
implement methods and processes for efficient supply chains,
establishing priorities, and supervising personnel. Direct all
activities and ensure that all business commitments are met in
regards to demand planning & scheduling supply, quality and
financial compliance and projects as needed.
How will you get here?
* Process requisitions to create purchase orders. * Enter all
required information, follow applicable procedures for SOX and
Quality compliance, and forward to either the requester or vendor.
* Confirms requisition forms are completed correctly and reflect
all required items for the components or services being purchased.
* Enters PO's into the ERP utilizing the buyer function within the
ERP system. Signs PO as needed. * Works with Planning, Production,
R&D and other departments as needed to create and update files
for inventory tracking and build planning. * Other cross-functional
and miscellaneous projects as needed.
* A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply
Chain/Operations or closely related discipline
* Has understanding of ERP/MRP systems, Oracle a plus. * Ability
to manage simultaneous projects; knowledge of quality management
systems and corrective action programs. * Possesses knowledge of
both general & specialized job functions, but additional training
may be required to advance to a higher level position. * Able to
perform the job in a quality system and regulated environment. *
Must have good oral and written communications. Computer Literacy -
Proficient in Microsoft Office. * Prefer 2 years' experience in
pharmaceutical industry, understanding of regulations pertaining to
Generous. Innovative. Leadership-driven. Family-oriented.
