Description:Tayani Institute is seeking a dynamic, experienced, energetic and knowledgeable full-time Medical Biller with Ophthalmology experience to work in our growing and thriving Ophthalmology/Optometry practice. Our practice provides a broad array of ophthalmology, optometry, optical, and plastic surgery services. Duties & Responsibilities:Working insurance and patient A/RPosting insurance paymentsDaily billing: HMO, Medicare, PPOAnswer phones, address patient billing questions and resolveFollow daily task, and manage time appropriatelyPM22Requirements:1.Team player and willing to share all applicable knowledge2. The ability to work independently, and confident 3. Experience with Ophthalmology billing (required).4. Knowledge of how PPO, HMO, Medi-Cal & Medicare works5. Understand medical benefits, and how to verify and calculate benefits6. Experience with Nextgen software (preferable)7. Customer service oriented.
